Veggie-Loaded Bolognaise Sauce

Serves 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 1 zucchini chopped
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped
  • 5 mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 400 grams mince beef, or a mixture of beef and pork
  • 45g can plum tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons Gourmet Garden Italian Herbs

Instructions

  • Place carrots, zucchini, onion, mushrooms and garlic into the thermo bowl (10 seconds, speed 7)
  • Scrape down the sides. Add the oil (4 minutes, 90°C, speed 1)
  • Add the mince (5 minutes, 100°C, speed 1)
  • Add remaining ingredients (15 minutes, 100°C, speed 1)
  • If the sauce starts to spit, simply place the MC on an incline in the lid. Serve with pasta and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

Recipe Notes

Tip: To make your own mince, place 400g meat, cubed and slightly frozen, into the thermo bowl. 10 seconds / Speed 7 or for a chunkier consistency, pulse using the turbo boost function 3-5 times.
