Potato Bake

Serves 6 serves


  • 1kg white, round potatoes
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 40g sachet salt reduced French onion soup mix


  • Preheat oven to 180 ̊C.
  • Peel and slice potatoes 5mm thick then place into a baking dish.
  • Combine cream and soup, pour over potatoes and bake for 45 minutes or until tender.

    Absolutely delicious! I never knew potato bake was so easy. This is fast becoming a favourite of ours. I put some grated cheese on top for extra deliciousness.

    Wow will be doing this again. I did sprinkle a cup of grated cheese on top for the last 10 minutes. Wonder what it would be like with Cream of Mushroom soup.
