Homemade Hummus

Serves 4 servings


  • 400 grams can of chickpeas (dont drain)
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon tahini


  • Place all the ingredients, including juice from the chickpeas, into a food processor or blender.
  • Season with sea salt and cracked pepper.
  • Process until nice and smooth.
  • Stopping to push the mix down onto the blades occasionally to ensure a creamy result.

Recipe Notes

Optional: Serve with a variety of fresh vegetable sticks and sprinkled with a little sweet paprika for colour.
