5-Minute Fettuccine Carbonara

  • 350g fettuccine
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a frying pan, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the eggs and cheese.
  4. Drain the pasta well and add it to the egg mixture, tossing to coat the pasta well.
  5. Add the bacon and toss again. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Optional: Add ½ cup of peas to the fettuccine in the last 1 to 2 minutes of boiling and cook together for some nutritious greens with dinner.
