Savoury Case Asparagus Filling

 

  • 1 pkt white sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) milk
  • 200g tin asparagus pieces
  • 1 lemon

Make the white sauce as per instructions using milk. Drain asparagus and mash with fork, then add to white sauce. Season with sea salt and pepper and serve in savoury cases topped with a generous amount of lemon zest.

Hi ladies your show 4 ingredients has just started to be shown on the English tv channels. I am really enjoying the program and did not realize how simple the dishes you have shown could be.

We have a houseful of uni students home at the moment on holiday, so cooking is on my mind all the time especially filling food That doesn't take all day to cook. I have been given a new perspective on cooking since watching the shows so thankyou for bringing This new concept to our screens and I look forward to watching on a regular basis.
